Strawberry Hermit Crab Care Sheet

Do not let the name hermit crab fool. The hermit crabs are anything but hermit. They are growing in social interaction. If there is only a hermit crab in the tank, it can really make them crazy. I brought people to those who wear Strawberry Lily Crabs who are strange and varied, as they are alone. Anyway, I'm here to help you treat your Strawberry Hermit Cancer carefully. Various local forest cages have different needs depending on the different species. You do not care about a Strawberry Hermit Crabrel like a Purple Pincher Crab. And when I say, Strawberry Hermit Crab, I mean, Coenobita Pearls.

The most varied thing is the Strawberry Hermit Crab's color. Usually light strawberry is red with white granular marking, with bright greyish-black eyes. They have thick body and thick feet for climbing.

Most people buy Strawberry Cancer at a mall or at a pet store. And most of them have a small plastic box to hold cancer. Now I tell you that the box is NOT useful for the crabitat. Well, it's a temporary shelter, but the crabs need a little room to roam and interact.

You should have bought at least 2 crabs, preferably 3 to get started. I suggest you start with a 10 gallon aquarium. It's easy to find and inexpensive. Though better than the better. It is recommended that the temptation be used to heat the tank.

Tank bottom with sand or coconut (sold as bedding, Bed-A-Beast® and Eco-Earth®). So your cancer has something to dig. I like the combination of coconut fiber and sand. It provides them with a stable substrate to dig. They need to be deep enough to bury themselves, but not so deeply as to deny a subfloor heater

. I use some choya wood to climb. Some plastic plants will also work. Strawberry Hermit Crabs are known to be destructive. So they spoil the well-organized crabitate you've just done. Get ready for this.

Keep a temperature of at least 72 degrees F and I can say it is not higher than 90 degrees and 70 percent humidity. You want a "tropical" feeling for the crabs. If it's hot, smell it and you notice a brown liquid that comes from the crabs. STORE THE HEAT, IF PERFECT?

The first thing you need for a Strawberry Hermit Crab is a bowl of salt water. You can get safe salt at your local pet store or on the internet, DO NOT SUPPORT THE REGULATION, iodine that kills crayfish. Use an aquarium salt in a salt water. Use distilled water or filtered and dechlorinated water. Straight tap water can kill the crabs. Chlorine causes bladders on gills, causing slow painful death.

Strawberry Hermit Crabs require 2 bowls of water. A fresh salt. Make sure the bowl is not so deep that the cancer can drown in it. Place a sponge in each water bowl for the crabs. It is also a good idea to place a tree, a stone or something in the water that the crab can grab when it is disturbed in the water. So you can get it.

One pot should be enough. It is very important to feed sweet marmalade in a carotene-rich diet. Some of the best foods are sunflower shrimp, plankton and coloring fish. Make sure you always have access to these foods, and the cancer will have a healthy red / orange color.

Burning cancer is mostly unnecessary. I will only be able to bathe under certain circumstances. When they first come home, after a while, and in this connection.

On-site cleaning is best done weekly. Removal of the exo skeleton, food bits and other debris. Put all the climbing games back in place or have a good time to remodel, keep the crabs to get bored. If you use a coconut-based substrate, clean the perceives and replace all the media in a few months
